Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital Portfolio

During my internship with Piedmont Athens Regional, I supported various communications efforts, including coverage recognizing Breastfeeding Awareness Month. I assisted in drafting and refining press materials that spotlighted patient education efforts, community outreach, and hospital leadership perspectives on maternal and infant health.

Through this work, I strengthened my ability to translate medical information into accessible, community-centered messaging. This experience deepened my understanding of healthcare communications, media relations, and the importance of thoughtful storytelling to impact communities.
